General questions in connection with entry regulations and tests

  • Where can I get tested? How much does the test cost?

The simplest, free on-site variant: At our hotel you will receive a "test kit" for the self-test and all the necessary information (subject to availability). These tests are valid for 24 hours without supervision (digital solution). These can be used for gastronomy and the like, but do not entitle you to enter Germany.

Guests can also have themselves tested free of charge on the test roads of Tyrol in Kufstein, Wörgl, Kitzbühel and St. Johann after → online pre-registration (this site is only in german available).

Mobile test stations in the region (without prior registration, subject to a charge):

  • Ellmau — Thursday - Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. | Sunday - Wednesday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
  • Apparthotel Tom Sojer
  • Since the state and federal government unfortunately do not cover the costs, guests will be charged a fee of 16 euros per test from 12.6.2021 in order to be able to continue to offer this service.
  • Söll at the Bergdoktor car park - daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (ONLY for locals and Austrian citizens - free of charge!)

The result is available shortly after the test. Please bring your e-card, ID and an FFP2 mask for the test. A controlled corona test must be carried out every 2nd day during your stay.

  • Do I have to be in quarantine after being in quarantine? Return to Germany is possible from May 19th for vaccinated, recovered and
tested guests without mandatory quarantine. Please note any changed regulations in your home country | Region.
  • What is the handling if my test result is positive? If the test is positive, you will be asked to stay in the room until a mobile team of doctors arrives. The clinical picture is then analyzed on site and together with the district administration it is clarified how to proceed. When you feel ready to start your journey home, you can do so. On arrival at home, you are obliged to go into the 14-day quarantine and to inform the responsible health department by telephone. If you are unable to drive home, you will be admitted to a nearby hospital until you recover.
