From May through to October you can easily access the children’s worlds of discovery by taking the lifts, which also offer transport for children’s buggies and wheelchairs.

“Kaiserwelt” - Scheffau

Situated between the mountain station of the 8-seater Scheffau-Brandstadl gondola and the Brandstadl mountain restaurant is KaiserWelt Scheffau. A gemstone hunt with unforgettable experiences awaits you there. Past winding paths, seret tree huts, hidden streams and delightful climbing walls, You can follow the tracks of the old emperor right through the enchanted KaiserWald..

TIP for parents: For a little romantic break, head off on a walk to the idyllic Jochstub’nsee  lake along the Jochstub’nweg, a great place for dreams.

“Ellmi’s Zauberwelt” magical world - Ellmau

Come and be enchanted in Ellmi’s Zauberwelt Float up the mystical Hartkaiser mountain comfortably with the gondola lift, and let the magic begin. Exciting adventures await; come and explore and be amazed. It’s not just the stations that are magical, but also the wonderful views of the breathtaking mountains of the Wilder Kaiser region and the Kitzbühel Alps.

RiesenWelt (World of giants) Brixen im Thale

Huge mountain and nature fun for young and old in the home of the Salven Riesen in Brixen im Thale:
The RiesenWelt Brixen im Thale is full of secrets and adventure fun: You can glide across the lake on a wooden raft, clear everything in a game of skittles and a water syringe operated by an alchemical screw delights naturalists!

Alpinolino - Westendorf

Excited about the prospect of some adventure? Pay a visit to Alpinolino, the discovery park on the Talkaser mountain at 1,770 m above sea level. Pretend to be a marmotte and hide, see if you can jump further than a weasel or a hare, or show how brave you are by climbing up to the peak of the Adlerhorst. There’s also the new flying school where you can experience the same sensation as Bert the eagle. The many informative stations tell you in a most impressive way about the Tyrolean mountain environment with its flora and fauna. The tour is led by the Alpinolino mountain guide, Schlauberger. Something to really look forward to! Our “Spoggolino” rolling ball run, guaranteeing plenty of fun for young and old alike up on the Choralpe!

Fun – Games – Adventure: from mid-May to mid-October daily 

Hohe Salve mountain -1,829 m high

The most beautiful scenic mountain in the Tyrolean Unterland. Anyone can make it to the top thanks to the lift. There are 2 modern gondola lifts (buggy and wheelchair friendly) to whisk you comfortably up in about 20 min. At the top is the Salvenkirche church, the Gipfelalm with a rotating panoramic terrace and a rotating restaurant in the inside area. There are a lot of other huts too, making your day unforgettable, with Tyrolean delicacies. Wonderful views of over 70 mountains above 3000 m accompany you on your walk along the easy “Panoramaweg” path around the summit. The well-maintained hiking paths make exercising in the beautiful environment a very attractive proposition. At the Hohe Salve there are panoramic sun loungers giving you a comfortable place to relax a while.

Astberg Pony Alm

With their 20 ponies, the cable car companies have created a pony pasture on the Astberg in Going am Wilden Kaiser. Accompanied by professional pony riders, children can explore the area on horseback.

KaiserBadEllmau (Leisure pool)

A family bathing day becomes a real sensation at the “Ellmauer Kaiserbad” leisure pool complex, with “Ellmi’s friends” in the leisure pool, or in the sauna. The Kaiserbad complex at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser has a spacious layout and has everything families could hope for. You and your children can swim directly from the leisure pool into the heated outdoor pool. The children’s area “Ellmi’s Freunde” has various fun and games areas with water cannons, a witch’s house, and a jungle bridge giving plenty of space for children to let off steam and have fun. The turbo slide and children’s slide offer even more fun and variety. At the Kaiserbad, the really little ones also have plenty to do with a climbing frame, climbing tubes, and a net tunnel up to an action podium complete with tipping barrel.
